Congratulations to Minister Judith (Judy) Shannon, M.A. Chap.

We are thrilled to announce a major milestone for Minister Judith (Judy) Shannon, M.A. Chap. This past May, she proudly completed her Master of Arts in Chaplaincy from Liberty University.

This accomplishment is the result of three years of dedicated study, including 400 hours of supervised Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE). Minister Judy excelled academically, finishing with an impressive 4.0 QPA. She chose to specialize in Hospice Chaplaincy with a concentration in Thanatology—offering compassionate care to those at the end of life.

Minister Judy is recognized for her serene and gentle demeanor, with her soothing words being equaled only by her elegance and joy in conducting weddings. One couple even referred to her as "an island of calm amidst the chaos of a wedding day."

Ordained by American Marriage Ministries and holding an Ecclesiastical Endorsement, Minister Judy is authorized to perform weddings in Pennsylvania and Maryland and is also registered as an officiant in Ohio and West Virginia. She continues to receive glowing reviews from couples who appreciate her warmth, empathy, and professionalism.

Minister Judy is also a devoted member of East Liberty Presbyterian Church, where she volunteers with several outreach programs, including the Chapel Market—an initiative providing clothing and toiletries to those in need. Since retiring from full-time work in 2023, she enjoys spending time with her beloved grandsons, Bradley and Brody, who bring her endless joy.
