Welcome - Wedding History and Trivia

Over the years, I have been consistently intrigued by the history of different wedding ceremonies and traditions. Like anyone who has spent years in school, college, and graduate school, I frequently delve into researching some of the topics that appear most frequently. Over the years, I have found many wedding history and trivia fact to share with you.

The topics mentioned are questions I've been asked throughout the years, as well as some I've pondered myself. I present this blog as a resource for couples who are getting married, those who are already married, and those aspiring to marry. Ideally, this information will provide you with some insight into why wedding traditions are deeply rooted in our culture.
